Silver sufers looking to retire
Hi there to all members of forum... My wife and I are 48 and 58 respectively and looking to move to Perth WA from England. We'd like to hear from anyone who has entered on retirement visa. We understand it's very costly, but hopeful that we can both work albeit restrictive hours. Also we're very active and social and have only visited for short term hols over the winter, we're keen to make friends and expand out social circle! Any advice welcome? Cheers!!

I lived in Chester for many years before I moved to the US...in fact I was there 2 weeks ago. I will give you a few links to BE forums I think may be of interest to you. Being as you're interested in moving to Perth here is the link to our Australia Forums. We have quite a lot of members living in Perth...they will give you tips and advice on life Down Under. The link I have given you will take you to the main index page of the Australia Forum...at the top of the page you will see a list of sub forums. The top forum is the Immigration Forum...it would be best if you repost your questions about retirement visas in that forum. The Main forum is for topics relating to Australia and The Barbie is for general chit chat. Also take a look in the BE Wiki...you'll find loads of useful info in there.

I'm not in Perth having moved to New Zealand nearly 7 years ago , so as much help as a chocolate pudding .
