Settlement visa delay
Hi,
The application and biometrics was done on 19/06/2017
Type- settlement to join husband who is a British citizen
Applied as priority and all documents submitted . Received a response providing a GWF number. No news since then and it is now 54 working days since biometrics. UK visas say 100 percent are processed within 60 days. Anyone else in a similar situation??

But The Welcome Inn is really just a place to say hi, so pop over to our family visas section in the Moving Back to the UK forum (http://britishexpats.com/forum/citiz...-visas-uk-196/), you'll find a few threads there about the spouse visa delays.
Good luck.

Re: Settlement visa delay
Has anyone applied for a settlement visa from Cochin, India? It is now day 54 and the contact centre in the UK has escalated it 3 times. They told me that this is a time for foreign students awaiting visas to join UK universities, hence the delay.
Had anyone else waiting heard something similar??

Re: Settlement visa delay
Has anyone applied for a settlement visa from Cochin, India? It is day 54 and I still have not heard Noe received an acknowledgement from Sheffield. The cap in the contact centre said that the delay was due to the large number of student visas being issued. Now. I wonder if this is true??
Thank you.
