Hi,

Firstly welcome to the forum, however I think you may be in the wrong place, as per the title of the site we are British Expats and so very few of us know anything about the visa process etc for the UK. The majority of us as are British citizens and either living away from the UK, or getting ready to move away from the UK. We do have some members that are moving back to the UK but unlike yourself we do not need to go through a visa/work permit process.

Suggest you try somewhere like here.

Regards

Sue

Re: Scottish Police Clearance Process

I do not know anything about this Police Clearance proses. So I Googled. it seems this has come up before on this forum, but a lot of postings are from a few years ago.
Results here-
If you work in certain sectors it would be normal for the police to issue a cert, to prove you are of good character.
I would have thought the solicitors would be able to tell you all of the costs involved.

Good luck with your prospective move.

I'm not sure that this is the correct site for you to ask your questions. As the site's name suggests we are mostly British Expats and therefore most know little about the immigration process to the UK.

As this is an old thread and the OP hasn't been back I am closing this thread.
