A quick hello from Brisbane
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say a quick hello.
We came to Brisbane from the UK about 3 and a half years ago for a holiday and never left...! We've both been lucky enough to get stable jobs we really enjoy and my other half is fortunate to be sponsored by his employer.
After nearly four years we're now debating our next move and whether we want to stay put in Australia or hit the road again and pick up our travel where we left off before heading back to the motherland.
Either way I thought this would be a great place to learn about other people's expat experiences, in Australia and elsewhere. So hello!

Sounds wonderful luck you've had in Oz ... and an interesting life to boot!
Sherlock seems to have you well kitted out for useful links and helpful information. And so I'll simply bid you: Welcome to B.E. and greetings from Ontario, Canada!
With every good wish in your plans for the future,

Do you have any idea where your next port of call will be?
We have a great bunch of people who post in our Australia Forums...why don't you pop over there and say hello?
Kelli28, Sherlock Holmes and newjersey are the concierges for the Australia forums...if you have any problems finding your way around our many forums please contact Kelli, Alistair or newjersey
If you have any concerns or problems please contact a moderator or admin. Every BE forum has at least one moderator dedicated to that forum...Australia has 4...Cresta57, Monneypenny20,, Sonlymewalter and Alfresco.
I hope you enjoy your time with us and don't forget to shout out should you require any help. Good luck.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
Rosemary
