Previous PR of USA, returning soon hopefully!
Hello all
I used to use this forum, many many MANY years ago... in fact I'm not even sure it was it's own forum then!
Back in 2001 I entered the US on a visa waiver, and ended up marrying my boyfriend and never coming home. I adjusted status, annoyingly got CPR (as it was less than 1 week before our 2yr anniversary!) and all was fine. I had been a PR for almost 5yrs when we decided to turn the tables and move back to the UK for a while.
We've been here almost 7yrs now and we're ready to move back. It's going to take a while to prepare, and save up, but we're making ourselves a 'how to' guide so we can figure out what we're doing.
I abandoned my PR in 2008 on my next visit to the US after moving, so I'm kinda hoping that being a previous PR and already proving our marriage etc will help a wee bit?
We're going to need some advice re: filing back taxes and proving domicile for hubby so expect me to bend your ear...
Thanks all!

Hi and Welcome to BE
You best course of action for answers to your questions would be to put a thread up in the USA section. You'll get lots of useful information there and hopefully it will aid your application along and with minimal stress
