Not sure if this is the right place? USA to UK
Not sure if this is the right forum or not. I'm an American but I'm moving to the UK next year after my fiance (who lives there) and I are married. I'm just trying to find a board with proper and reliable visa information.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, there is also a lot more information in the Europe Forums. Yet another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

Welcome to BE. I hope you enjoy being part of our community. I see you've already found your way to our Moving Back to the UK forum and I'm sure you will find it useful. We have many UK/USA couples who have moved back to the UK.
Also you might want to also check out UK-Yankee (not affiliated with us) .... not that I want you to go to another site you understand
..... but it may help you to flit between them and BE for the max of info.

As Sue recommended...take a look at the UK Yankee forum...as it is primarily for Americans living/moving to the UK...but you are very welcome to post on BE too. We have several American members who have lived in the UK and have now moved back to the US with their British spouse...they usually post in our US Forums.

I see you have been given some good links by Sue and Jerseygirl, and I know you're not moving back as such, but it may be worthwhile popping on to our Moving back to the UK forum. It probably won't help with visa stuff, but there is lots of information on there about other things related to moving to the UK which may assist you along the way.
Where are you going to move to in the UK?

I can't remember who asked but my fiance lives in South West area of England, about an hour from Bristol. We are less than 2 months until he arrives for the wedding so just ready for it to be over with, lol.
After the wedding I get the pleasure of getting my cat ready for the move (nightmare) and then after I visit the new hubby in April for a week we start the process of me moving there.
