Default Newbie here... Potential move to Toronto

Hi there

The company my husband works for want him to relocate to Toronto; their offices I believe are in Mississauga. We've got 2 kids, 12 and 10. This has come out of the blue; I've never even visited Canada before so a bit overwhelmed... He's currently working in Australia for 7 weeks, so we've not had much chance to discuss but I know he's keen.

We're looking at a visit when the kids break up for the summer holidays. My daughter, the 12 year old, is very opposed to the idea, whereas my son has virtually packed his bags! I don't really know how I feel, guess I need to visit first.

I currently work part-time as a PA; I've read a little around the forum and there seems to be a feeling that it's hard to get work.

Not really sure where to start with everything, I guess the first thing we need to look at is location and where around the Mississauga area would be good for families.

Thanks for reading.

Julie
