Hello everyone,
My husband and two children (4&5) will be arriving into Perth WA sometime before November having had our visas accepted !- whoopee !
I have dozens of questions for you but wanted to introduce myself first.
We will be renting my sister in laws place in Bunbury so am interested in primary schools ( when will my 4 year old (12/9/07) start?), the best way to get our belongings (car???) over and not forgetting our beloved dog!

Hi Charlotte

First of all welcome to BE - wow you must be feeling pretty nervous and excited at the moment.
We have a forum dedicated to Australia where you can chat with expats who are already living there or like you, in the process of moving there. Plenty of folks post from the Perth area so you can start chatting with people who may well be your neighbours to be.
You can find this forum by clicking the 'forum index' tab on the top left of this page, scroll down the countires, double click on Australia and you're in.
The Barbie thread is the place for chatting, so I would say pop in there and say hi, then ask away any questions you have as I'm sure someone will have the answer.
The wiki is also full of useful imformation so feel free to check that out as well.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

Well we are getting closer !!
Got removals coming on 20th and hope to have from 22nd to 4 th October in Thailand on our way to Perth. Going to get sons passport renewed in Newport on Monday first.
Can't believe we got here already.
