Default New to North Carolina

Hi everyone,

I recently started a new job at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I moved out here about two months ago after completing university in the U.K.

Looking forward to hearing from other British expats in the area!

Hi Laura

Welcome to BE and congrats on your move.
I see you have already found our USA forum where there are plenty of other folks to chat with who live in NC so you should be in good company, and will have a great source of information and advice to tap into.

That just leaves me to wish you all the very best in your new home

Hi Laura,

Welcome to BE, there are quite a few of us in North Carolina. I'm in Charlotte now, but we lived in Winston-Salem for seven years prior to this. How are you finding it so far?
