Default need help :( IR-1/CR-1 visa

hello every1 i m new here.. kind of confused where to start.. but here is my story...
i applied for my husband (IR-1/CR-1). he had his visa interview on October 4th in London.. at th interview consulate officer told him that his file is complete, congrats him and also gave him info abt th package that he has to carry with him for th airport but unfortunately at th end of his interview consulate officer told him that they need some additional processing and gave him a blue color paper. now few days a ago we called th embassy operator and he told us that no status update yet.. all is showing is that he had his interview on that day then my husband asked him is it my case is under AP? nd th operator said no its not under AP.

so as of now we r soo confused abt whats going on. if its not under AP thn why its taking so long? nd how long do we have to wait?

plz help me

Hello Yasmin and warm to BE. As you can see, I am based halfway around the world in Malaysia so no use to you really.

Do go and have a look in the USA forums. Just click on this link here

You will so a little way down a sub-forum entitled US Immigration and Visas. I would suggest posting in there. There are loads and loads of helpful folks on the USA board. I'm sure they will be able to help you out or point you in the right direction.

Sue, Yasmin's husband is moving to the USA.

Yasmin, all you can do is wait. There evidently was something further that needed to be done with your husband's case. The embassy will notify him when they are ready to issue the visa. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing how long it will take.
