Hello! I... have no idea what to say here so, I'll start with this: did you hear about the man who was in a terrible car crash last weekend? He lost his left side. He's all right now!

I'm a 23-year-old student nearing graduation (bachelors in accounting with a concentration in taxation). I was searching Google for information about working abroad as an accountant and I stumbled across this site. So far I have about 5 threads opened in other tabs and I've been digging through some immigration information on the Australia board. I have always been interested in working abroad in either Ireland or Australia.

I'm from the US, southern -- complete with terrible Southern Appalachian drawl. I'd love to talk to anyone who has immigrated to get a feel for the experience. Or anyone in general, I'm fairly friendly!

I see you've discovered the Lounge and the Barbie already. They're both good places for some relaxed chit-chat.

If you need some more serious info about Australia, just have a good browse through the other sections in Aus on here. They are a really helpful bunch and I'm sure can advise you on whatever you need to know.
