Read a few of the threads on the Spain forum, and the best advice I can give is rent first til you know the area throughout the year, as you may change your mind over the 12 months.

thanks for the advice but we have made an offer and we can afford it without selling here so we have decided to buy as we love the place we have seen and the area as well but will be visiting a lot as well to see if we love it or just like it and as we know a few people out there i am sure we will love it but thank you
