Default Hiya

Hi all,

My wife and I are thinking of moving to Florida from the UK.advice

We are lucky our business is coming with us so we don't need visas or jobs but I'm really looking for someone to tell us how its is.

We have spent a lot of time in the Bradenton FL area but that's been holidays not life!!

We have 3 children aged 3,4 and 9.

Any advice/experiences would be appreciated.

Hi, and welcome to BE.

I'm intrigued, how does the fact that you are taking your business mean you don't need visas? Are you US citizens?

If you post in the US forums then you'll find loads of useful info, and people will be able to give you advice on anything you need help with. I've got a feeling there are one or two members living in the area you are hoping to move to as well, so you can do a search and find any relevant threads.

Best of luck with it.

Welcome to BE.

Unless you are all US citizens you will certainly need a US visa. We have several excellent forums covering all aspects of the US. I recommend you take a look around...

USA - British Expats

Any questions about visas should be posted in the US Immigration forum...the link is at the top of the General US forum page.

Let me know if you need help with anything site related.
