Most of us have experienced culture shock after the 'honeymoon' period...you are not alone. For many it improves as time goes on...but others find it more difficult.

That's completely natural, I think I felt like that for a year. But every day does get better, and you've got some long hot lazy days to look forward to in the summer That will make you feel much better.

I am living in Missouri temporarily (2years) and understand your feelings completely! It is normal to feel out of place when you move to somewhere that is very different culturally. It helps to speak to like minded people.

Thanks everyone, it's appreciated that my feelings are understood. Hub gets to chat at work and go out with the boys, I seem to be nominated housekeeper, taxi driver, problem solver and I'm so miserable this week, I am even getting on my own nerves .
