Hi - moving back to the UK from USA
We moved to the US in January 2002. My husband is a US citizen, and I now have citizenship also, but have retained my UK citizenship. We have three kids, but only the youngest (currently 16) will be coming with us. He was born in the UK and also has dual citizenship.
We're probably actually further down the road than some people just starting out on their moves. We've spoken to an immigration specialist, we have a two year plan, and we know all the requirements for my husband to be able to come over and join me. We're banking right now on my getting hired fairly quickly when I return (approx. October 2018), because the requirement to have mega bucks in our account for 6 months prior to the move will take too darn long.
So I guess I don't have many questions at the moment, but we will have a dog and 2 cats to ship, so I need to find out about that. I know about the legal side of it: my pets will have their "passports" and medical certificates etc., but not sure about shipping three animals from Texas to the UK!
Hope to learn more here, and to be able to maybe help others who are shipping from UK to US.

You sound pretty clued up on the financial and other requirements for your husband's spouse visa, it's great to get to that stage (I remember it well!).
When you have specific questions about your move back (such as transporting furry friends), we have a forum tailor made for you. It's called Moving Back to the UK and can be found here Moving back to the UK - British Expats Loads of people on there who have made the move back and a wealth of information.
If you run into any site related problems you can contact a forum moderator, their names are in the bottom right hand corner of each forum's index page. Also, please have a look at BE's site rules when you get a free few minutes, it's a good read for new members.
