Hi

we are 2 guys looking to move/retire to Costa Blanca close to Benidorm. We at the early stages ie still not committed to moving but giving it a helluva lot of thought.

We would prefer an area or complex or whatever where we could rent a property and build a good circle of friends and enjoy a friendly social life.

Biggest problem we have is finding suitable rental accommodation. We're looking for somewhere not too high up, prefferably with a communial pool and a short drive away from Benidorm.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Close to Benidorm and the rest of what you are asking for would seem to be a good fit for Altea or Albir, Albir is on the coast, Altea a little inland but they are basically the same place. Plenty of rental properties there and a lot quieter than Benidorm.
Asking your questions in the Spain forum will get a lot more answers as this is really only for introductions.
