Hi everyone.
I'm not sure where to post this so I apologise if this has to be moved elsewhere. I am a regular user on another forum and this is where I met my wife-to-be.
She is an Australian woman, I'm a British fella, and we are currently working towards a prospective marriage visa.
I am/we are just looking for a little help, to iron out some of the smaller details, and thought this would be a great place to sign up to.
I do have a few questions, one of them being if anyone knows the average waiting time for a prospective marriage visa (subclass 300?)
Anyway, it's nice to be here, I appreciate any help that might come our way and I look forward to seeing what goes on around here.

You may want to check out the Australian section - Australia - British Expats
The immigration, visas and Citizenship section there should help answer some questions, while general info can be found in the main section. No sure of timescales for that visa though, sorry

Definitely head over to the Australia section, you will find tons of helpful people and helpful advice there. Be sure to read the wiki as well.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
