Hi everybody
Is there anybody out there living in Switzerland? I'm a British woman, came here on a temporary basis about 40 years ago, and I'm still here! (In Basel). Would be happy to offer advice to newcomers if I can.

Hello and welcome to the forum
I don't know if we have any Switzerland residents on this forum, but best place to look will be within the main section of Europe. Think you should be able to find it from the main index page but, if you get lost, just shout.
Very strange....last time I visited Basel which was a very very long time ago, I remember eating the most wonderful rosti. It was so fab, I ate it every day and I just happened to cook rosti last evening. Coincidences eh.

Re: Hi everybody
There aren't all that many BE members in Switzerland, although quite a lot in France along the frontier. If there's no response in the general Europe Section (beneath the individual countries), try on the France forum.
I, too, discovered Rösti when I was working in Zürich, also Bratwurst and Birchermüesli. Nostalgy, nostalgy.....
