Hello all, just joined the site and wanted to say hi..

Im Keyz, 39 yrs old and currently in the UK.
I have decided I can no longer handle the bad british weather and I am going to be off to Gran Canaria soon and wondered if anyone had any info for me in what to expect.

If anyone can give me any info about getting the NIE I would greatly appreciate anything you can tell me. I have read so much about people doing it online before going but it costs quite a bit of money for someone to do it for you and you have to be buying property apparently. Others have said it is easy to do once you're there. Some slightly contradicting stories so not sure what to make of it.
