Default Hey from China

Young expat from the UK living in China. Soon to move on but trying to figure out where. Looking for a suitable job and happy western style environment.

Hi and welcome to the forum . As MrsFychan said have a good look around the forum and see what info you can find. Are you enjoying China? Where are you based there?

Welcome, welcome!

Hi everyone. Thanks for the warm welcome.
China has been a lot of fun but due to certain circumstances I will be leaving early December.

I have friends who live in Melbourne and so that is an exciting possibility. Although I have no idea where to start. I need to find myself a (preferably graphic design) job in Melbourne somehow. Does anybody know how likely this will be? I mean, an Australian company hiring an expat instead of hiring one of their own, sounds... slim.

If you're considering Australia you should have a look in our Australian forums - http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=54
