I am from York, with a Swedish wife and daughter and we've lived here in Sweden for the past 9 months. I've commuted back to the UK for work once or twice a month - possible because we are in Lund, a short train ride to Copenhagen's wonderful Kastrup airport.
I've just starting surfing ex-pat sites, because we've decided to make Sweden our permanent base for the foreseeable future.
About me: academic (but quite normal), keen on choir singing (but have no time given young daughter and crazy life-style). Enjoying Sweden very much as a place to live, but missing British 'muddle along' mentality.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
