Hi,

I am new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I live and work in Surrey and have been considering emigrating to Canada for a while now. I have actually lived in Canada for a period of 5 years as an undergraduate student. After completing my degree I returned back to England. 8 years later (and after a brief holiday in Ontario, Canada last year) I find myself really wanting to be back there... The cost of living and the quality of life are a big draw - but so are many other smaller things we tend to take for granted.

I am aware that this is a discussion forum and by no means a visa consultation service, but any tips on emigrating to Canada would be sincerely appreciated. I will also troll through the forum posts on Canadian emigration experiences as that is sure to assist me.

As you quite rightly have realised, the best place to find info on emigrating to Canada is within the Canada section of the forum. You'll find a good bunch of folks in there to help you out with any questions you may have. All the best with your plans
