Hi there, new to the site and thought I should start by saying hello and introducing myself. My family and I are moving to Canada this year, hopefully in the Cochrane area after we have successfully achieved our Federal Worker visa. We are now trying to find temporary accommodation for two to three months to use for house hunting and also for an address for our PR cards to be posted as we activated our visa in January when we landed for a trip then, but couldnt provide an address. We are hoping to be able to buy somewhere permanently over the coming months and make the permanent move in November time.

Looking forward to reading the many stories and would be grateful for any advice or help in regards to temporary accomodation.

The best place to post your queries is in the Canada forums. You'll find a lot of good folks on there. Just go to the main menu and you should see the Canada forums there. If you get stuck on anything, just shout.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
