Hello everyone
Hi all I am just joining to see if this forum can be helpful to me. I see that the replies here are pretty recent so this means that it is an active forum.
My name is Kramvi and I am in the process of applying for New Zealand. So thought I could get a few insights from people here. I am just going to send my ITA shortly. Am still waiting for my NZQA results.
I am in the hospitality management sector. Any other people from here in this profession? Would love to hear from all.

Re: Hello everyone
Hi we are hoping to move to Thailand in the next 4 to 5 years so that I can semi retire there.
I am 51 at present, my wife is Thai and has British/Thai status as is our 11yr old son.
I found your web site by accident via Sakon Nakhon Live blog site, and I find British Expats very interesting and think you may be able to us in the future.

Hi Kramvi
I see you are already finding your feet on our NZ forum, which is exactly the place to chat with others living and working there.
That just leaves me to say welcome to BE and all the very best with your plans.
Hi Petey
Welcome to BE to you too.
I recommend you check out the Far East forum, where you can hat with other expats who are living and working in Thailand. Baked bean is the concierge for that forum - she is lovely and will help you find your feet there.
You will find the forum by clicking on the 'forum index' tab on the top left corner of this page. Scrol down the list of countries until you see the title Far East - double click that and you're in. I believe (if my senile memory serves me right ) that there is actually a Thai forum. They're a friendly lot over in the Far East so I think you will enkioy some good chats and information discoveries.
All the very best with yoru move too.

I used to live in Phuket before moving to Penang. I cannot say in all honesty that I really settled there, but the food is fabulous for sure.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
