I saw that your post on the France forum was transferred to another section. Post again on the France forum, mentioning that you're a plumber thinking of coming over to work in France. There's a professional BE plumber who can advise you.
However, I can tell you already that, firstly, you'd have to get qualified in French Plumbing Standards, meaning that your French must be adequate. And it must be good in order to compete for business against French plumbers/communicate with your potential clients and suppliers/cope with the red tape involved in setting up and running a business in France, etc....
Good luck!

And yes, the French Standards are different from the UK, and you'd have to get re-qualified and create a company in France. There are different types of companies and some one on the France forum will advise. I seem to be the only one who has noticed your post in the Welcome Inn, so post on the France forum and you'll get more response!
