Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
Rosemary

Re: Hello all :)
I'm currently in the UK, yorkshire specifically alfresco. I'm wanting to say im jealous of your current location which is set as Brisbane but its strangely quiet lovely weather here today for march in the north of England!
Iv spent time in France, finland, italy, Germany, portugal, and done some travelling in the USA too, and not long back lived in Madrid, spain for a while.
But a job offer brought me back......for now.
I pretty much fell in love with the USA when I did some travelling there, especially the south. So just trying to work towards perhaps being able to call myself an expat again and move there.
I dont think I could have picked a more difficult country to want to emmigrate to what with the near impossibilty of getting a visa and the veritable wall of beurocracy that blocks my path at every turn, but the heart wants what it wants I guess!
Speaking to other people who'v done/ are doing something similar is always a good idea, so here I am at BE.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys

Hello Gaile and welcome to BE. Where are you from?
You could look up a country-specific forum that may be of interest to you, like USA, Australia, India, amongst many others.
Just buzz if you need anything and keep posting
Cheers
