Hello to all at BE..
Hi Everyone,
Just dropping in a quick hello... my first thread here on the site. I have been presented with an opportunity to relocate the family to Auckland area in New Zealand through a job offer. Currently living in the UK with wife, daughter and our German Shepherd 'Roxy' (quotes to export dogs are horrendously expensive!!
- if there is anyone out there who has taken their pet dog with them and has any advice please step forward). I guess it will be roughly 6 months time before actually moving - going by anticipated visa times. Of course, any constructive help and advice will be gratefully received along our journey. A long way to go yet, but lots of planning, and organising to do!

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
