Default G'day

G'day everyone,

Just a quick intro....I'm an ex-UK resident now living in Australia. I moved over here 12 years ago & am now looking into having my parents move here too now that they have retired.

I joined this board in the hope that I could leverage other people's experiences with things like pension transfers, visa issues & other financials as these were not really considerations for me when I came over (I was 22 so had no pension & owned nothing).

My parents have way more questions than I can possibly answer so I'm trying to find out as much as possible on their behalf.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys

Hi...welcome to BE.

I'm a Brit living in the US...so I can't help with your questions. If you ask in BE's Australia forums there will probably be people there who can help you.

If you have any problems navigating the forums please don't hesitate to ask for help.
