Emigrating to the UK - Help!
Hello .....
Just a quick question... i have been in the UK for 4 months now... come over here to meet someone i met online, and it's gone really well. We have known one and another for almost a year.
I am wanting to emigrate to the UK to be with him. I have looked on many a visa sites... but am left confused! I'm not sure what avenue i should do/take.
Any advice would be amazing and much appreciated.

Hi there and welcome to B.E.
Just popping in to welcome you to the forum and give you a point of contact should you need any help with the site in general. You can contact me here.
A list of all the moderators and helpers with their relevant countries can be found here.
Any problems, dont hesitate to PM me.
British expats is a site mainly for those travelling the other way (though all are welcome ) so I'm not sure how much knowledge we'd have here.
You can have a look and post your questions in the Moving back to the UK forum here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=61 and that might help you.
I think the page you might need to look at is here: http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/passports-and-immigration/
Anyway, best of luck and enjoy B.E.
Alistair.

As Alistair recommended the best forum to ask your questions is the Moving Back To The UK Forum. I suggest you also try Google...there must be discussion forums for Australians wanting to move to the UK...this is one forum I found through Google.
Good luck.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
