I've been in the States for just about twenty years now. A lot of my family live here as well. I guess we migrated to be closer to each other.
Everyone brings something English to the table. Whether it is food, shows, books, etc.
Some foods are missed. Saveloys for me.
I will actually be in London, albeit Heathrow, for a few hours in a couple of weeks. First time back on British soil. I wish their were a chippie in the airport.

Also a fair bit neighbouring you too....cracking time of year to be in New England
