Default Early stages (just thinking about it)going to canada

Hi, new to this forum, but, we are only at the thinking stages of going to Canada, Husband is Canadian citizen but has not lived there since going to university in Thunder Bay, we also have two children aged 11 and 14 years, who both have Canadian Citizenship (from Father) really need some solid advice as to cost of housing, living and the prospect of employment? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks Diane

Hi there Diane and welcome to BE.

Another new member from Scotland...at this rate there will be no-one left in Scotland!!

It would be best if you reposted your questions in our Canada Forum. We have a lively bunch of members posting in the Canada forums...they will give you tips and advice about life in the Great White North. Also take a look in the BE Wiki...there's loads of info in there about Canada.

If you have any problems finding your way around the many BE forums AmyDavid and The Aviator are concierges for the Canada forums...they will be pleased to help you find your way around.

For any other problems please contact a moderator. The mods for the Canada forums are Iaink and Christmasoompa...although any mod or admin will be pleased to help you.

Please give me a shout if you need any help.
