Confused Newbie!!
Hi,
I'm a 34 year old Primary School teacher hoping to move with my DH, who is also a teacher, and my 2 year old daughter to Sydney to join my brother. He moved there 2 years ago and lives in Manly.
It's a very recent decision for us and, after looking on here, I am very confused!! I thought 2 teachers would have no problems getting visas and jobs...it seems I was wrong!!! LOL
Any pointers or anyone in a similar position?

No not yet. Have done the points calculator and providing we apply before December, when I turn 35, and I do that English test thing we get 120 points. From reading on here that's a good start I guess. Just worried about getting jobs too!!!

Hi Suzianna, welcome to BE
Take a look at this part of the forum, you should get answers to all your questions there.
Also if you use the "search" facility at the top you can search for specific terms as most things have been discussed before.
I recommend you sit and read through the WIKI, it is full of information.
Good luck

You might want to look into specific state sponsorship visas as well as regular federal PR visas. You'll get most of your answers on the Australian Immigration section of this forum which I presume the above poster has linked you to. In addition there are a few immigration consultants writing on this forum who will be able to provide even more specific help.
Good luck!
