Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
Rosemary

Hi Samantha, and welcome to BE.
You don't say which country you are thinking of emigrating to? If it helps at all, the general consensus in the Canada forum seems to be about £25k for a family of four to emigrate (visa fees, medicals, flights, shipping, insurances, rental deposits, utility deposits, etc), plus whatever you'd need to get set up out there i.e. to buy a car etc.
But I'd imagine it will vary massively depending on where you're planning on going - much cheaper if it's within the EU etc.
If you can clarify where you're planning on moving to, then hopefully somebody can help you.
Best of luck with it.

Welcome to BE
Every country, different process and costs, so you'll need to be a bit more specific and perhaps look at the government sites directly to find actual current costs.
Moving countries isn't cheap though, where ever you move to...at least within the EU you don't have the added cost of a visa.
Other consideration would be how your qualifications transfer because depending on when you got them, they might mean nothing for the US for instance.
Good luck.

Hi Samantha
Welcome to BE.
I see a couple of folks have given you an answwer already.
My advice would be to check out the forums for different countries and ask your question on them. That way you will get a rough idea of costs for several countries and assess the possibilities. At least then you can make an informed decision.
All the best whatever you decide
