Canadian RRSPs and RRIFs
Has anyone had experience of the tax implications of having RRSPs or RRIFs, and moving from Canada to the UK to retire? Alternatively, has anyone found an accountant who has a good knowledge of the tax systems of both countries.
We are looking forward to moving back to the UK in 2 weeks time, but still do not understand the tax situation, despite a lot of research.
Would be grateful for advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

Hi there and welcome to the forum
You might like to check out the Moving Back to the UK section on the forum, and maybe ask some questions in there. I'm sure you're not the first person to move from Canada back to UK.
If you get no joy there, try posting in the Canada section. Someone might have the answer. You never know.

Just hit the word Forum or Forum Index up on the top left of this page. That will bring you to the Index page.
Just scan down the page and you'll find both sections.
If you get stuck on anything, just shout.
