Smile Buying/Leasing a Car in Katy,Texas

Hi everyone. We have relocated from the North East of England to Katy, Texas in August 2017. My husband's company is hiring us a car for the first couple of months but we need to start looking at leasing/buying our own cars soon. He has passed his Texan driving test and I am doing mine in the next couple of weeks. Any advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You need to find a dealer, and a brand that has an expat finance scheme. VW and Mazda are often mentioned as having expat/ new immigrant finance available. I heard that Ford does too, and I suspect that most brands/dealers have a program for expats/ new immigrants, but they might not promote it and/or maybe not all dealers participate.

If you have any questions about Texas we have quite a few people living in the Lone Star state.
