Brits (and pseudo-Brits) in Hamilton, Ontario
Hi all
just want to say hi - we have just moved from the Oxford area to Hamilton, Ontario. I am actually Canadian but have lived in the UK for so long, i basically forget what that means. I was just out of Uni when i left, so i don't really know any other way - i have only just discovered about filing a tax return, for example. That was fun.
I got offered a job here and took it, so we packed up and here we are!
My hubby is currently enjoying a stint as a house-husband while we wait for his residency and our daughter has already lost her British accent and sounds very...Ontario.
Hamilton is a lovely city that is really proving to be a great choice! And we have a Euro market here, where we can buy proper baked beans so all is good

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
