Bon Jour
Hi
We are in the process of buying a property in Ronsenac.
New to French Life although initially we will be renovating and spending weekends, we plan to move in the next few years. Currently living in Bath UK and having to use the internet to buy, choose, locate and translate! All good fun. Looking forward to enjoying the forum and making friends living in the Charente region.

Bonjour a Vous aussi Clarence
Welcome to BE - and what an adventure.
We have a forum especially for people moving to France, which is well worth introducing yourself onto. The good folks who post on there can offer you all manner of useful tips and advice, and not only that, you can get to chat with some of your new countryfolk.
You will find the forum by clicking onto the 'forum index' button on the pink bar above, scroll down the list of countries to the 'Europe' title and you will see 'France' listed underneath. Double click onto that and you're in.
Don;t forget to read any sticky threads at the top.
Don't be shy, jump on in, and get chatting with your new compatriates. I am sure you will find some in your area, and some who have done similar projects
Good luck with all your plans

I see you have already found your way into the France forum. I hope you enjoy being part of our cyber community of British Expats.
If you have any problems finding your way around the rest of the site Ka Ora is the concierge for the France forums...he will act as your tour guide and help you find your way around BE's many forums.
Any problems or complaints should be addressed to a moderator. Mitzyboy is the moderator for the France forums but if he's not around any mod or admin will be pleased to help you.
Please shout out if you need help with anything...there's usually someone around 24/7. Once again welcome.
