Accomodation in Como, Italy
Hi Everyone,
I am considering taking a teaching post in Como, Italy this September and would really appreciate some tips on looking for a reasonably-priced apartment. Haven't had much luck so far and it has been difficult to find letting agents online.

Re: Accomodation in Como, Italy
Congratulations...Como is a lovely part of Italy. Of course the main attraction would be a sighting of George Clooney.
We have a couple of excellent Italy Forums...with lots of friendly, helpful members. I think it would be best if you reposted your question in that forum...there maybe someone who knows the area who will be able to help you.
We have a team of concierges who are assigned to various forum to help people find their way around the forums...the concierge for the Italy forum is TestaRossa.
All other problems or concerns should be addressed to a moderator. The moderator for that forum is Lorna...give her a shout if you have any problems or concerns about the Italy forum.
Please don't hesitate to shout out if you have problems with anything...there's always someone around to lend a helping hand.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, there is also a lot more information in the Europe Forums. Yet another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
Rosemary
