8 Years in Jan arghhh!!!
 

Hi Everyone! Been in NZ for nearly 8 years and thought it a good idea to voice all my fustrations onto mutual turf! (the hubbys fed up with it lol!!!)
Is it just me or does this homesickness thing ever go away? Its actually got worse the longer i have been here?
Probably the fact that we come over with lots of money, built an amazing house on 2 acres kids in great schools, skiied every year, holidays all the time life was good. Then we went onto NZ wages, recession kicked in, lost the house still got business debt after 5 years, now renting, no money to do anything so just stay in all the time, so hasnt gone the way we planned and just a little bit bitter! Visiting the UK in December and so tempted to stay there! Only thing keeping me here is my parents and sister are here.
Would be great to hear from others who havnt had such a great time here.
I so miss the british humour, shopping and heaps more. Is it time to go home?????:(
