Yes, I did that the other day to drop a book off at the library. Well, that's closer to a full mile, but even then I felt like a giant fatty for not walking.

I'm so guilty of this. We have a CVS 1/4 mile away and I always drive there. Mainly because there's no pavement to get there despite it being so close!

You're kind of OK there. My problem is that we have a pretty decent network of footpaths in my town that I can use to get to the library, a petrol station two smallish groceries and a Walgreens.

I've no excuses
