Paul Daniels has MAG1C in London, I've seen that one in Kensington.

I saw the actor Robert Powell in Hampstead a few years ago, and the plate on his BMW was ACT III.

I saw a cool red sports car once with the license plate 4RE, I thought that was very clever.

You can get vanity plates relatively cheaply in Virginia, for as little as $10 annually, so a lot of people have them here.
Just two days ago, I saw CHERS M8, which I thought was cute.
We also saw ENGL& 1, the other week, too.
About two years ago, I saw BOLLOX in the parking lot where I worked.
Mark and I now have two cars, but only one has a vanity plate. On the first anniversary of when we met, I got the plate changed to SONANCE, which has been Mark's online username for at least 10 years, and was the username he had when I met him on Udate.com.
Funnily enough, before that I had a different vanity plate, which was SWEET AS. I got it after spending 3 months in NZ and falling in love with everything Kiwi. My initial application was denied because DMV said the phrase could be misconstrued as something vulgar (like "sweet ass," I guess). This pissed me off so I fired off a letter to them, stating that this was a common slang term in NZ, the equivalent of "cool" or "awesome." I also mentioned that I was offended that anyone would even imply that I would want some vulgarity on my car. They reversed the decision and I got my plate.

Funny - just yesterday here in CA I saw LUV2DV8 on a Lexus - I guess he/she/they go to some interesting parties???
A friend has ITS A 7 on his Caterham, as he was fed up explaining to people what it was
Here are ours. Mine is self explanatory, the Passat is 'Kazzybabe' - my nickname for 'er indoors.
