Just to let you all know I placed an advert on the forum for some furniture we were selling prior to moving.

I have today received a e-mail regarding it which was clearly a scam.

Sure every ones able to notice scam e-mails but thought I'd mention it too.

I hate that. A friend back in England is selling a narrow boat, the kind that you live one. She got one inquiry about it from a guy who had a client who wanted it in America, I think it was in some middle state. They strung them along for a while and it got really funny when the middleman changed his mind from having it sailed from England to a landlocked state to having it shipped via UPS. How stupid do they think people are?

Nope I took it off after receiving the e-mail-had sold our stuff on good old e-bay the previous weekend anyhow!

I keep thinking we should have a good old clear out. We've got loads in the basement we no longer want. What puts me off EBay is having the ship the stuff.

I'm responsible for selling all the crap, listing it, shipping it, etc. The funds however always seem to end up as sparkly things to hang on Sue

Yes I had one this week also from some dim wit called Julius at a yahoo address I had sold my SUV and forgotten to delete the ad, Sue mentioned to me she has posted that there are scams and they are sometimes playing on this site. . not her words my interpretation.

Nothing you can do its part of cyber world I just feel sorry for the not to internet savvy that get soaked into this Bull Crap.
