Hi there chaps.
Sorry for the delay in updating this thread.
We finally ended up being told we were indeed getting our Visas. I also asked the chap behind the window how long our E2 visas were granted for and he replied with 5 years which is perfect for what we're doing.
Can't wait to get the bit of paper in the passport and jump on the plane!
There was an awful lot of waiting around however it seems it was all worth it in the end. After arriving at 7:45 we were on our way at about 10:45.
I did consider an EB5 instead of the E2, however the E2 suits what we want to do better!
That was the end of the beginning - now the hard work really begins...establishing my business in a foreign country!
