UK Passport UPS tracking numbers??
 

This topic may have been covered, but here goes. My passport has finally been printed, and it should be on its way by UPS to Canada. Has anyone ever been given a tracking number by the UK Passport Center in Washington? I can't track it without one, and Careline does not have one.

The first time I had an automated call the night before it arrived and they gave me the tracking number. The second time however no call.

With all the bad experience I have had with UPS, I don't even expect a delivery notice at my building. A call would be a godsend, but I am not holding my breath.

I received a call from the passport office telling me that my kids' passports were being shipped overnight, the helpful young man I was talking to read out the UPS tracking number over the phone.
He did say that sometimes it was as late as 8pm est before UPS picked up from the passport office. I'm going to try that tracking number in a few minutes to see if it appears in the UPS system.

IF only I could actually talk to someone at the Embassy. I might try to send an e-mail to the person who has e-mailed me a few times there. I am not sure she would have any info. So dissapointed that Careline can't provide that for you.

I just got it now!! I noticed on the UPS package that there is a 1-800 number that the Consular section leaves as a contact number for the passport center. I would recommend calling it if you have issues with delivery.
It is 1-800-630-3332.
