UK to LA @18... WHERE DO I START!
Hi Guys, this is my first post on this forum, really hoping you can all hlep me out here.
Ever since I was a kid I always knew I wanted to move to the US, finally I have my chance but have no clue where to start!
Anyway, can anyone provide insight into the steps I need to make, what kind of housing I need to be looking at, Obtaining a Car and job over there.
Really any snippet of info would help right now, feel like im turning in circles.
Thanks guys
Ryan

Welcome to BE Ryan.
Unless you are a U.S. citizen your first step is a visa allowing you to live and work or study in the U.S. Take a read through the following...if you fit into any of the categories you may be in with a chance.

Very unlikely to be possible at 18 unless you are already a US Citizen.

Have you
- got a girlfriend who is a U.S. citizen and who might be willing to marry you
- been offered a job by a U.S company that is both willing and able to sponsor you for a work related visa for which both you and the job are qualified
- got enough money to be able to support yourself while going to college in the U.S.
- got enough money to be able to invest in a business in the U.S.
- just discovered that, for some reason, you are actually already a U.S. citizen

What is the "chance" that you think that you now have?

Political Refugee Status - the British Government is getting wayyyy too oppressive.
