Nnygaard is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: UK Foods in the US Share your finds!

No, they're quite different. Heavy cream has 36% butterfat and British double cream is significantly thicker and has 48% butterfat. They are not interchangeable in many many recipes.

Pear drops available here.

The second one is hard boiled sweets, I feel like I've seen them in Fry's, Ralph's etc... unless those are american versions.

For the Brits up in Maine and near a Reny's, they had loads of Hobnobs for a couple bucks a packet, including the chocolate orange ones.

Those near Lynnwood, WA, there's a shop in Alderwood Mall called Lollipop that sells sweets from around the world. British section is pretty good and has things like Curly Whirly and Flake for $3.

Showing my age, but I remember when a Curly Whirly was 10p. Thats a lot of inflation, pity my savings accounts didn't grow by the same amount.

Would this establishment extend its offerings to Jammy Dodgers? I have a Doctor Who fan in the family, she is keen to try them.
