I lived in a German village with German neighbors; how is that a "different perspective??"

I've driven probably over 50,000 miles just on driving trips throughout Europe and if you think i was just merely drving through "the fun touristy stuff" then you are wrong.

If I had the power your kind would be gone in a second.

That's OK though as i am sure your new environment will adjust your attitude whether you like it or not.

I do that myself. Went to Books A Million today and got a couple of books. Wanted to buy Albion's Seed-first in a four book series on the English settlement of America (special emphasis on New England btw) but the paperback was 27.00!!!! Just found it on Alibris used for 14.95-even with shipping costs that's a savings.

I see this first hand every week. Hard working, minimum wage people who CAN'T afford health insurance come to the organization I work for looking for help in obtaining medication they need. It's either rent/food on the table or health insurance, they can't afford both.
California being a perfect example. How many of those do you figure would be illegal aliens?

Those on minimum wage in California can afford health insurance. I know plently of working students with roommates that have insurance and go to school. I was one of them.
