Snow in Phoenix!

Snow in Phoenix!
Well, not exactly IN Phoenix, but, you can see it from here!
I just happened to see this while exploring Fountain Hills, a community on the outskirts of Phoenix, yesterday. Turns out the fountain only runs 15 minutes every hour, so I missed it in some photos. The mountain range is 'four peaks' and gets snow once every few years, apparently. Arizona continues to amaze!

I can see the phrase "When hell freezes over" dropping out of use soon if this keeps up.
What is that mud hut in pic #4? A hotel or something?
Nice camera work.

The 'mud hut' is a multi-million dollar (one would guess!) home - an adobe style, which is quite prevalent here and which I happen to love!

Thanks for posting these photos. I actually got married in Fountain Hills with the ceremony overlooking these mountains. Something different for the folks back home to experience (did rather miss the English country church, but you can't have everything).

Today I flew to NY from PHX, and got to see the mountains from the plane. Not sure if these are the same ones or not - but anyway, seeing snow on these desert mountains is pretty weird! I plan to drive out to this area when I get back and do some exploring ...
