Took a trip to Lexington KY yesterday, filled up at $1.649 whilst there, then saw it at $1.599 on the way back.

It's on its way up again in CA - up about 10c on average. Costco was around $1.65, and a few locals around $1.79.

You've got to love states (like NJ) where you're not allowed to do it yourself.

No way! That's my saving grace when it's this cold out. Right now it's 3F with a wind chill of -13F! I wanted to run up the grocery for a few things and to the mall to get a few last minute little gifts for DH and kids but I'm re-thinking it.

Oh yeah, WTF is that all about? I visit NJ quite often and that is one of the most arbitrary rules I can imagine - almost as arbitrary as not being able to buy beer in the grocery store! I mean, I haven't heard of any major explosions or fires at gas stations in the other 40+ states that do allow it in the past decade or two ... or am I missing the point here?

it secures a few extra jobs...and health and safety for the stupidly cold months? well it'll stop peoples hands freezing to any metal they might touch while hanging around outside...

I know.. we have this new tiny tank and it sort of ran out before expected. Are you guys hanging in OK? Nice to see your cheery face, even if you're in Beaver orange.

We are doing just fine. Just heading out to Safeways to stock up.

Nothing wrong with orange.
