Price of gas update...

Re: Price of gas update...
What I find strange is that everywhere locally, including the neighbouring counties seems to be holding at that price. We saw the same thing post-Irma but the anti-gouging regs had kicked in because of the declared state of emergency, no such state exists at the moment.

Now down to $2.299.
Also topsy-turvy world has returned - the area where gas is usually cheapest, and has been most of the time (say 10-11 months of the year on average) for a dozen or more years that I know of, is now the most expensive area in my bailiwick.
I believe that most of the time, by keeping an eye on the price of gas in different towns, that we are saving 5¢-15¢/gal over buying from the nearest gas station (of the ones I have already identified as cheapest in their respective areas). In other words, the cheapest prices in different local markets fluctuate with respect to each other.
